Living Pictures is a hidden gem. Both ladies are knowledgeable and helpful, with no beating around the bush with information. Having American Cichlids I've mainly spoken to Sue who happily shares her years of experience keeping and breeding the aggressive fish. Have returned to pick up a Jaguar and will return again. Great shop, well priced too

Prices not on tanks so hard to know the cost of the fish

Absolutely terrible place.Sue sold me a Rainbow Acara with sunken belly(although she denies it, surprise surprise) & after $250 of treatments and 8 long months he finally passed.She also tried to sell me a Sterbai Corydoras for $80! They are $7 on gumtree, $9 in most stores. What a RIP OFF!Also being told that fisheries are regularly there due to ILLEGAL SPECIES BEING KEPT AND SOLD THERE puts a huge downer on the entire place. (Was told this by not only Sue herself but other store owners and even a private breeder that used to sell to her).Terrible business"

Ladies are very knowledgeable on everything aquarium related

Living pictures is in a great little hidden spot with many different species and live foods for your fish. They have many different tanks, and live plants, and upon first impression, seem very welcoming and knowledgeable.I was discussing axolotl keeping with one of the ladies when I joked that axolotls are so cheap to buy but the setup is deceivingly expensive, particularly chillers. She told me that chillers are a waste of money and that I don’t need one. I told her that my naturally 24 degree water is far too warm for this cool water dwelling creature. She would not stop challenging me and said that her water is 29 degrees and their axolotls do fine. I kept telling her that I don’t regret my chiller purchase at all and she kept challenging me about it. Not a nice atmosphere from then on. As our visit continued, we found staff to be increasingly abrupt; sub-satisfactory customer service.The lady I spoke to seemed very self assured despite lacking knowledge in many areas. Don’t go to these people for advice unless it’s absolutely necessary. They will provide bad information with confidence.That being said I scored some live black-worms. But won’t be going back.

Made the trip yesterday and absolutely loved the service and expertise received at living pictures. Sue was more than happy to help with any questions I had (and even encouraged I ask more!). Went in for coloured mystery snails and came out with live food, quality pellet food, and so much more knowledge than when I arrived. Looking forward to our next trip up!
